The first mention of the chapel goes back to 1668, and according to the available data, a new chapel was built in 1704, and again in the 19th century. The wooden church from the 19th century was built in the traditional way. Today’s wooden chapel dates from 1935.
On the front is a shallow porch with a small bell tower. Inside the church there is a preserved small altar of folk Baroque style from 1749 with two statues (St. George and St. Florian) and an altar painting depicting the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The walls of the chapel feature the Way of the Cross, the work of contemporary painter and sculptor Mate Mihinica from the village of Obrezina in Turopolje region. There is also a statue of St. Michael surrounded by angels.
